Breast Health
Prevention, assessment and reassurance
Breast health is an important part of gynaecological care. Many breast changes are benign, but some require careful medical assessment.
At my practice, you receive personal advice and a clinical breast examination tailored to your symptoms, medical history and individual risk profile.
Breast health and examination
Depending on your age, symptoms and personal risk factors, we discuss which examinations may be appropriate.
Care may include:
Clinical breast examination
Advice on breast health and individual screening needs
Assessment of palpable lumps or other breast changes
Evaluation of breast pain and tenderness
Discussion of abnormal findings and further diagnostic steps
Advice in cases of family history or increased breast cancer risk
If necessary, further investigations, such as mammography or additional imaging, can be arranged in collaboration with the appropriate specialist services.
Take changes seriously
A new lump, a change in the skin or nipple, unusual nipple discharge or any other newly noticed breast change should be medically assessed. Many changes are benign, but careful evaluation is important.
Breast pain can also have various causes. During your consultation, we discuss possible explanations and whether further investigations are needed.
Individual care
I want you to understand your findings and know which next steps may be necessary. If results are abnormal, we discuss appropriate further investigations and follow-up care.
Your breast health deserves attention. I will be happy to advise you personally.
